AVATAR MMO?
Ok, this is a sort of small request to James Cameron. (no im not a complete avatar fan!)
Ive just watched the 2D version of avatar on DVD 
I understand 1) There is an avatar game. 2)Ubisoft own the rights to avatar games
However, i have played avatar the game and i was unimpressed and i guess ill have to follow the line that my friends say and have always said “never buy video games that are based on films” however, i will make a small exception.
When i was studying the film i noticed the eco system then it all came to me. This could be an MMORPG or a MMO.
What could be created? I know alot of grid pioneers have already got worlds of there own. Ive already seen RP sims based on the avatar story. However im thinking out of the box we need something with its own engine. (id say Crytek 3 would be the best for this job)
What would be required for this virtual world of avatar? id say 3D Graphics are a must. (Crytek 3 engine would cover that!) we would need standard def and id say we need a fully immerse system, this means a clear UI with functionality.
We would need to think out of the box to develop such a project. If this was done right and by the right people (*coughs* Blizzard *coughs*) we could see a universe developed upon the backing of the film. (People are already talking about avatar 2) <<just been reading it and it seems 2 and 3 are confirmed. after seeing that i just yelled *Yehaww we are going to Texas!*
OK so what do we need? a multi-platform MMO based on Avatar with spin offs done correctly by professional game writers *coughs bungie*
We need this system to be cloud based (up in the clouds!) with the ability to add new parts. (this can be done)
We need otoy streaming services (This means ALL platforms can join) iPads, iPod Touches and iPhones can stream the MMO Directly!.
We need James Cameron and 20th century fox to listen to everyone. (including fans)
So guys listen to everyone

Getting back to Business
The Vio semair i had today kinda pushed me forward. after what has happened recently i was near to closure. However i am happy to say for now everything is running smooth….
Linden Lab Recruitment center possible job fair?
i did a search the other day on my map. i typed the words “Linden” then i was scrolling over the different parcels. and found one that as been brought to my attention. the Linden Lab recruitment center.
there are also signs to a recuitment fair. (maybe this could be somthing LL is holding in 2010?)
I teleported over and alerted some friends in Mental Mentors. then a stream of residents teleported over looking for a job! I think this is wonderful to see that Linden Lab still has the recruiting power required of a business
we also noticed that a “job fair” sign was displayed. i found this pretty interesting. below are some pictures from looking around. (the builds where built by riversrunred the same people who made the SkyTV zones and the immersive spaces)
“Free Land” hits back.
on the 04-Dec-2009 10:43:03 Jack Linden posted an entry on the land blog i have herd recently about the development. im excited to say Linden Lab’s have now provided a statement about the themed mainland systems they have been planning since SL 2.0. the new Land will be given to premier members of second life who pay a fee per month to get bonus support and a stipend.
this new land product is called “Linden Home”. it sounds good right? but there are some drawbacks. one of them being that you cannot move your home. terraform or buy sell or rent the home. its locked down to the basics. but this is a basic first home right? i believe it will give people the right strings towards purchasing normal land or even mainland.
Jack’s move is a good one and one that i am supporting currently. i just hope theres nothing in the middle. such as banning basic residents from logging onto the land. (thats what you have your access list for!)
i have also herd there will be themed builds in development. allowing the customer to pick from differnt themes (please have SIFI in there!)
